Course Description

Course Profile

Medicine programme:

• The English programme of medicine is adapted to the common European programme, in keeping with the European admission standards for medical education.

• The first two years are devoted to preclinical (theoretical) subjects such as: anatomy, histology, embryology, genetics, immunology, etc.

• Foreign students also take the Polish language classes to be able to communicate with the patients from the third year onwards.

• From the third year, students are taught clinical subjects such as pathology, pharmacology, microbiology, paediatrics, surgery, etc.

• After completing six years of studies and meeting all the requirements, depending on the country, the students will be able to apply for a medical license. The diploma is recognized in the EU and EFTA countries, USA, Canada, India, Thailand and many others.

Education Requirements

Admission is based on grades on the high school diploma or transcript, in particular, grades in Biology (mandatory subject) and Chemistry/Physics/Mathematics (one of those subjects). English language certificate on B2 level is required. The University does not conduct entrance exams or interviews unless a candidate holds a high school diploma issued by a country outside the EU, EFTA, or OECD or Ukraine.
